Arley Women’s Group helps with reading initiative
In this week’s Alabama Champion, the Arley Women’s Club goes into action to help young readers.
Every month, 30 women go into the Meek Elementary School to help read one on one and also act out a book while in the classroom, which usually ends in laughter and a deeper love for reading among the children The women went into action when they heard the statistics that one in four children in Alabama do not read at grade level…to read more click the link below
